This video cover really brings out the best in Sam Tsui. Actually did not discover this song until this summer while the video has been published for over two years. The original by Britney Spears was released around that time. Tsui’s cover adds flavor to the enhanced pop-iness of Spear’s single. Sam provides a more acoustic song that interprets Britney’s song delightfully. Spear’s original is better suited for concerts and prime time radio. Sam’s rendition can be listened to on repeat on the computer without provoking a dance party. The joy in listening to cover videos is hearing the soft arrangements without heavy bass. Kurt is the guy that does a good job with the recording of the song other than Tsui’s voice.
